Facebook Corporation thought to launch the facility to attach GIF files in the news feed a long before. But, some researchers thought that this could make the news feed more chaotic. That is why Facebook didn’t launch the service rather they launched the facility to share video and also auto play service for the users in 2013.
But, after a long period recently Facebook has realized the necessity of GIF files in the news feed. That is why the day before yesterday this social media giant disclosed the facility to attach GIF files in the news feed. This will help the users to express their feelings more lively. Though this facility has been given for the whole users but due to some reasons some users may not get the service.
To add a GIF file now a user need to attach a link of the websites where GIF files available, in the status update then Facebook will automatically import the files after the status has been published. The GIF file will auto play in the news feed if the auto video play option remain enabled. However, a user can anytime change the setting of auto play.
Though this is also a testing period of providing the whole facility but Facebook will certainly do whatever needed to retain the users. Since this feature is on a development stage we will inform you after getting more information from Facebook about this topic.
